Well-Read Gay Man: An Introduction

So, I have started this blog, inspired by Well-Read Black Girl. I would like to believe that I am a Well-Read Gay Man, and if I am not then I would like to change that through this blog. What is the need for this, you ask? Well, there are several reasons. I will try and remember some for you. I want to read more diversely. I read diversely, a lot actually, but according to me that isn't enough. So I want to read more. I want to read across the spectrum. One book at a time. I want to read these books and share my thoughts - more than anything else, I want to read so I can be aware of the rubric and not just use it casually in social situations. I want to be aware of my minority status and own it. With owning it, I want to understand other statuses, where do we fit in, where we don't, and how we see ourselves in relation to the world. I don't want to analyse too much and yet I do not want to be flippant about what I read. If anything, by reading the spectrum, I w
